The extras available to executive rooms was far better than any other hotel I have stayed in before. I found that the no charge for room service, free wi/fi etc... very generous
It is a small inconvenience to take public transport to the city centre for shops etc... I t would not put me off staying there any time in the future though.

Rainers hotel is such a lovely place! It's clean, well-priced, and easy to reach the major transport hubs. I loved having a kettle in the room for tea. The mini fridge was a nice touch. The staff was really friendly and offered maps and tips about getting around!

To have a variety of newspapers in the morning. Clean room and a fitness room.
A receptionist with an attitude problem. After the aircon was faulty and been reported 3-times she still gave me the run-around and told me that the basement was flooded, so the generators for the aircon were not working - despite the aircon in other rooms worked plus in the lobby. Asking for the Manager or Director - both she could or would not find! I am not booking into a hotel to be irritated. THE PARKING FEES OF Euro 12 per day is not warranted in an open space in the sun!!!

The staff was very friendly and there was a wide choice of warm and cold dishes for breakfast. Overall, the rooms were well equipped and cosy.
The corridors in the hotel are quite long, so if you're unlucky and get the room at the end of one of them you may end up spending couple of minutes until you reach the elevator. Seriously, an average American would use a car to cover that kind of distance :)

Make sure to ask about the breakfast options. There's a takeaway option that you might not notice at first.

nothing, I was overbooked, they "upgraded" to some Mercure, which was poor, bad experience
the attitude of the staff: they don't realize what this means after a you drive a whole day and come with high expectations since we had good experience with andel's berlin. I don't need excuse, but try hard to see it from your customers perspective.

We enjoyed the place and above average and savoury breakfast in it.
Had a good stay for three nights, everything was really good! The hotel's location was incredibly comfortable, ready to take public transport with the main shopping centre and a shopping area within walking distance. All the employees were top-class and attentive.

The family room I stayed in was super spacious and modern. Everything was super clean, and I loved having a tablet to control various features in the room. It. The towels were a bit smaller than I expected and could use a refresh. All in all, a cozy and enjoyable stay.
